昨天晚上海馬老爸參加了十年有成的首本名菜年度活動【饗宴 Dining by the awards】。昨晚是該系列活動的第二場,由半島公館主辦,由該餐廳的總廚、點心主廚,以及曾參與Master Chef Canada烹飪大賽的年輕廚師聯合掌廚,為晚宴近百人端上一道道美食。

第一道茶點崑崙雪菊琉璃球就艷驚四方 — 玻璃杯內褐色的茶水被包裹在果凍圓球內,杯口一大朵盛開的白或綠菊。飲用前摘下幾片花瓣置於盃中,然後一飲而盡。茶果凍在口中爆開,菊花香氣在鼻腔瀰漫…. 這樣的開場前菜創意十足。

接下來的餐點以溫哥華的海鮮為主,搭配中西式烹調方式的肉類。不論是象拔蚌、黃金蟹、當季盛產的斑點蝦,或入湯或變身粵式燒賣,每一口都讓人回味無窮。

最後一道甜品則是邀請溫哥華知名的氮氣冰淇淋店Mister的創辦人,現場製作甜點。以氮氣急速冷卻,用攪拌機快速攪拌奶製品,裊裊煙霧中一球球冰淇淋成形。糖炒栗子口味的冰淇淋濃醇滑膩,獲得現場賓客的一致好評。
